I would first of all like to thank God for giving me a father-in-law named Robert "Bob" Donahey. He was such a joy to be around and each time he visited our home, we were blessed so many times over and I thank God for that. To have had the opportunity to have known Bob for 9 years was simply a blessing in itself. We enjoyed so many memorable times together, those of which I will NEVER forget. All the fun and laughter made his visits even more memorable. I am so very blessed to be included in all that Patrick and Bob did each time he came down for a visit. One of my most memorable time will always be when we spent time with my side of the family, he was such a talkative person and we loved the time that we cooked out when Bob came b/c he loved my father's hamburgers the best. We would spend time at my parent's house learning about New York and he would learn more and more about Alabama, etc. Thank you God for affording me as much time as you did to be with Bob. I feel so very blessed and know that he truly will be missed. I know as a Christian that Bob is in a better place where you experience no pain, sickness, sorrow, loneliness, etc. He is so happy and is getting to reunite with those that have passed before him and is in such a better place, one we know we will go one day and be reunited with a very special person in my life and a man I called "Bob!" Thank you God for taking him to a better place that we know as Heaven. We love you, Bob! I would also like to send my condolences to Patrick's side of our family and let them know what a blessing it was to have known such a special person.
