Obituary of Aaron Thropp

Aaron V. Thropp Olean, NY-Aaron V. Thropp of 3009 Oregon Rd. died Sunday (September 20, 2009) in the Olean General Hospital from injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident in the town of Allegany. Born December 24, 1985 in Jamestown, NY he was the son of Gregory and Barbara Fiebelkorn Thropp. Mr. Thropp had been employed by his father for the past six years for Copper Ridge Oil Co., Inc. in Olean, most recently holding the position of Production and Operations Superintendent. He enjoyed a variety of activities including riding a motorcycle, 4 wheeling, fishing and shooting guns. He was a fun-loving, good natured person who had fun with his friends, loved working on cars, welding and just relaxing and watching his favorite shows on television. Surviving besides his parents of Olean are his fianc� Jillana Corbett and her daughter Mia Ruth; 2 sisters Devin (Chad) Barron of Portville and Katie Thropp of Florida; maternal grandparents John and Lois Fiebelkorn, Sr. of Cassadaga; 1 nephew Gregory Barron and several aunts, uncles and cousins. He was predeceased by his paternal grandparents James Thropp and Judy Lundberg. Friends will be received at the Casey, Halwig &amp; Hartle Funeral Home 3128 W. State Rd. Olean on Friday from 2-4 &amp; 6-9. Funeral services will be held Saturday (September 26, 2009) at 11:00am in the funeral home. Sean Obergfell, pastor of Believers Chapel in Olean, will officiate. Burial will be in Allegany Cemetery.
