Obituary of Mary Holcomb Cloutier

Mary M. Holcomb Cloutier “Former Olean resident” Hollywood, FL—Mary M. Holcomb Cloutier, a former resident of Olean, passed away Monday (February 4, 2008) in Memorial Regional Hospital in Hollywood. Born October 3, 1935 in Olean, NY she was the daughter of Miles and Florence Sweitzer Holcomb. Mrs. Cloutier attended St. Mary of the Angels Parochial School and was a graduate of Olean High School. She worked as a waitress and as a retail clerk in the Olean area and then moved to Hollywood in 1970. There she worked as a waitress for many years and most recently she was employed as a recreational coordinator for various retirement homes. Surviving are several nieces and nephews, including Daniel J. !DiPaola of Virginia, Anthony S.(Judy) !DiPaola of Florida, B. Kathleen Jehlen of Olean, Karen Edwards of Hinsdale, Michael !DiPaola, George (Christine) Moses, Jr. and Pamela (Robert) Devling, all of Olean, Ann (Daniel) Walker of Olean and Lisa Rajski of Conway, SC. She was predeceased by a sister Jean M. Moses on March 30, 2006 and a brother William Holcomb on May 7, 1988. Friends will be received at the Casey, Halwig & Hartle Funeral Home 3128 W. State Rd. Olean on Friday from 7-9pm. Funeral services will be held Saturday (February 9, 2008) beginning with a prayer service at 9:30am in the funeral home followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00am in St. Mary of the Angels Church. Rev. Gregory Dobson, pastor, will be the celebrant. Burial will be in St. Bonaventure Cemetery. Memorials may be made to St. Mary of the Angels Church.
