Edna G. Nuthall "Loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother and a classy lady" Rockledge, FL-- Edna G. Nuthall, of Rockledge and a former Olean resident died Sunday (May 11, 2003) in Huntington Place Care Home in Rockledge. Born December 12, 1919 in Buffalo, NY she was the daughter of George and Edna Frick Brotz. On August 3, 1940 in Buffalo she married Edmund L. Nuthall who predeceased her December 24, 1996. Mrs. Nuthall was a resident of Olean most of her life, having been employed for many years for the former "Town Talk Shop" in Bradner’s Department Store and for Jayne’s Fashion store in Olean. Upon retirement she and her husband moved to Rockledge, FL. where she was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Rockledge. She was a tireless and longtime volunteer for the former St. Francis Hospital in Olean and later for the Wuestoff Hospital in Rockledge, having been recognized for well over 1000 hours of volunteer service. Surviving are 3 daughters Judy (Frank) Metcalf of Port St. John, FL, and Joyce (Thomas) Louser and Claudia (Ramon) Mercado, both of Allegany; 7 grandchildren; 4 step grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren and 13 step great grandchildren. Visitation will be held Thursday from 2-4 & 6-8pm at the Florida Memorial Funeral Home 5950 S U.S. Highway 1 Rockledge, FL. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow on Friday (May 16, 2003) at 1pm in St. Mary’s Catholic Church with burial to follow in Florida Memorial Gardens Cemetery (Chapel of Peace) in Rockledge. Memorials, if desired, may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
