Ty L. Robbins
Olean, NY—Ty L. Robbins of 506 N. 8th St. passed away Tuesday (February 26, 2008).
Born April 18, 1972 in Olean, NY he was the son of Gerard Robbins and Laurie Maurouard Jennings. He was a life partner of Renee Baker who survives.
Mr. Robbins had resided in Savona for many years where he attended Savona Central School. He also attended Olean High School and had been a self employed contractor under the name of Robbins Contracting in Olean. He enjoyed camping and hiking and found a special joy in surrounding his daughters with love.
Surviving besides Renee are his mother and stepfather Laurie and Donovan Jennings of Stroudsburg, PA; his father Gerard Robbins of Olean; 5 daughters Elysia Robbins, Serina Robbins and Haley Robbins, all of Savona and Nya Robbins and Amelia Robbins, both of Olean; 3 brothers Chad (Tina) Robbins of Lockport, Ryan Robbins of Olean and Zach Jennings of Port Allegany, PA; 1 sister April (Jared Smith) Clemens of Bolivar; his maternal grandmother Joan Maurouard of Allegany; his father and mother-in-law Bill Baker and Pam Curcio of Olean and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was predeceased by his maternal grandfather Joseph Maurouard; paternal grandparents Lewis and Mildred Robbins and a niece Alleah Ann Smith.
A memorial visitation will be held Saturday (March 1, 2008) at the Casey, Halwig & Hartle Funeral Home 3128 W. State Rd. Olean from 1-3pm and 5-7pm. A memorial service will begin at 7pm in the funeral home. Rev. Ernest Tracy, pastor of the Angelica United Methodist Church, will officiate.
