Obituary of Dorothy F. Salvatori

Dorothy F. Salvatori “former Allegany resident” Cranberry, PA—Dorothy F. Salvatori, 83, formerly of St. John’s Drive in Allegany passed away Sunday (May 25, 2008) in Sherwood Oaks Retirement Community in Cranberry. Born April 25, 1925 in Buffalo, NY she was the daughter of James and Stella Hackmer Donohue. On July 7, 1951 in Buffalo, NY she married longtime Allegany dentist Dr. Dominic P. Salvatori who predeceased her November 26, 1992. Mrs. Salvatori was a longtime resident of Allegany and had formerly been a member of St. Bonaventure Church. Surviving are 2 sons Dominic D. Salvatori of Pittsburgh, PA and John J. Salvatori of Butler, PA; a grandson Richard Salvatori; a granddaughter Maria Salvatori; a niece !DeChantal Cummings and several nephews. In addition to her husband she was predeceased by a daughter Catherine Estell Salvatori; 2 brothers Joseph B. Donohue and Jerome G. Donohue and a twin sister !DeChantal Cummings. Friends will be received at the Casey, Halwig & Hartle Funeral Home 3128 W. State Rd. Olean on Wednesday from 2-4 & 7-9pm where a prayer service will be held Thursday (May 29, 2008) at 9:30am. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 10:00am in St. Bonaventure Church. Rev. Richard Husted, OFM, pastor, will be the celebrant. Burial will be in St. Bonaventure Cemetery.
