Frances E. Williams
Allegany, NY—Frances E. Williams of Emerald Hill Estates and a long time resident of Cuba, passed away Tuesday (July 22, 2008) at the Olean General Hospital after a brief illness.
Born December 29, 1927 in West Clarksville, NY she was the daughter of Arthur and Nona Drake Peckham. On October 17, 1965, she married David C. Williams, who predeceased her.
Mrs. Williams was employed by Motorola Co. in Arcade, NY. She enjoyed sewing, knitting and crocheting; making numerous gifts for her family.
Surviving is a foster sister Nina Richards and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by her first husband and her parents.
Friends will be received at Casey, Halwig and Hartle Funeral Home 3128 W. State Road, Olean on Friday (July 25, 2008) from 1-2pm, at which time funeral services will begin. Rev. Robert Goode, Chaplain of the Olean General Hospital will officiate. Burial will be in Pleasant Valley Cemetery, Olean.
Memorials if desired may be made to !HomeCare and Hospice 1225 W. State St. Olean, or to the Charity of the donor’s Choice.
