Jack Feneran
Great Valley-- Jack Feneran of 4230 Humphrey Road passed away Monday (November 17, 2008) at the Olean General Hospital.
Born March 8, 1937 in Bradford, Pa, he was the son of Bert and Eileen Feneran. He was a graduate of St. Bonaventure University and was employed at Springville Griffith Institute for over 30 years.
Jack was a 50 year member of the Third Order Secular Franciscan. He was also a Trustee and Eucharist Minister at St. Pacificus Church in Humphrey for many years. In his free time Jack enjoyed gardening, watching birds, traveling and had a strong interest for wolves.
He is survived by cousins and a life time close friend Rita Timme.
Friends will be received at the Casey, Halwig and Hartle Funeral Home 3128 W. State Road, Olean on Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 am on Friday (November 21, 2008) at St. Pacificus Church in Humphrey. Rev. James Vacco, OFM will officiate. Burial will be in the churchyard cemetery.
