Obituary of Lois O. Blair

Lois O. Blair Smethport, PA—Lois O. Blair, a former resident of Aiken, PA died Wednesday (February 21, 2007) in Sena Kean Manor, Smethport, PA. Born September 22, 1914 in Bradford, PA she was the daughter of Archie and Grace Chase Lamb. On November 15, 1932 in Allegany, NY she married Chester T. Blair who predeceased her January 11, 1991. Mrs. Blair resided in Aiken most of her life and was a member of the Smethport Baptist Church. Surviving are 3 children Ronald Blair of Frewsburg, NY, Lorraine Blair of Sanford, FL and Philip (Sharon) Blair of Allegany; 4 grandchildren Thomas (Shelley) Blair of North Pole, AK, Lora (Cory) Alderman of Allegany, Brian (Esther) Blair of Gainesville, FL and Johnna Blair of Russell, PA; 1 sister Hazel Thayer of Boonville, NY and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband she was predeceased by 2 brothers Archie “Bud” Lamb and Malcolm “Mac” Lamb. Friends will be received at the Casey, Halwig & Hartle Funeral Home 3128 W. State Rd. Olean on Friday from 2-4 & 7-9pm. Visitation will continue on Saturday (February 24, 2007) at the Five Mile Baptist Church on the Five Mile Road in Allegany from 10am until 11:00am at which time funeral and committal services will be held. Rev. James Mitchell, pastor, will officiate. Burial will be in Allegany Cemetery.
