Edward F. !LeBlanc “Loving husband, father and grandfather” Allegany, NY—Edward F. !LeBlanc of 4115 S. Nine Mile Rd. died Friday (March 9, 2007) in the Veterans Administration Hospital in Buffalo, NY where he had been admitted earlier in the day. Born January 28, 1952 in Boston, NY he was the son of Edward !LeBlanc and Joan Gray. On June 22, 1985 at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Allegany he married Cheryl Gardner who survives. Mr. !LeBlanc was a 17 year veteran of the US Navy Seabees and had resided in Allegany since 1998. He was a member of the Allegany American Legion Charles Harbel Post 892. Surviving besides his wife are his mother of Florida; 2 sons Matthew (Amber) !LeBlanc stationed with the US Army in Italy and Robert Williams serving with the US Army in Afghanistan; 1 granddaughter Kayla Wright; 4 brothers; 1 sister; his mother-in-law Bonnie Gardner and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his father; a son Eric !LeBlanc; 2 brothers and 1 sister-in-law Diane Mohr. Friends will be received at the Casey, Halwig & Hartle Funeral Home 3128 W. State Rd. Olean on Wednesday from 2-4 & 7-9pm. Funeral services will be held Thursday (March 15, 2007) at 2:00pm in the funeral home. Rev. Gerard leFeber, pastor of St. John’s Lutheran Church, will officiate. Burial will be at the convenience of the family. Memorials may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
