Obituary of Angel DeJesus

ANGEL R. DeJESUS "Wonderful Father" OLEAN - Angel R. !DeJesus of Queen Street, Olean died Tuesday June 10, 2003 in New York City. Born September 10, 1956 in Rio Piedras, Puerto Rico. He was a son of Angel R. and Claudina Villanueva !DeJesus. Mr. !DeJesus moved to Olean in 1986. He received an Associated Degree from Jamestown Community College in 1993. He was employed by the !ReHabilitation Center, Angee's Restaurant and owned JMB Housing in Olean. He was a volunteer at the YMCA and was a member of Mt. Zion Christian Assembly. In addition to his parents of New York City, he is survived by his wife, Leonora !DeJesus of Virginia Beach, VA; daughters Jeanelle !DeJesus of Virginia Beach, VA and Monique !DeJesus of Norfolk, VA; one son Angel R. "Bobby" !DeJesus, Jr. of Olean; a grandson, Richard Peterson, III of Norfolk, VA; ten brothers and sisters, Iris Figueroa of Florida, Nelly !DeJesus of Georgia, Lisa Beniquez of Olean, Diana !DeJesus, Maria !DeJesus, Javier Villanueva, Jonny Beniquez, Margie !DeJesus, Lourdes !DeJesus and Danny !DeJesus, all of New York City and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a brother Gilbert !DeJesus. Friends will be received on Sunday June 15, 2003 at the Casey, Halwig & Hartle Funeral Home, 3128 West State Rd., Olean from 2-4 and 7-9. Funeral services will be conducted on Monday June 16, 2003 at 2:00 PM at Mt. Zion Christian Assembly. Rev. R. Stanley Parks, pastor will officiate. Burial and committal prayers will follow at St. Bonaventure Cemetery, Allegany. Memorials may be made to Mt. Zion Christian Assembly, 631 Front Street, Olean, NY 14760.
