Bobbie-Kay Lamberson Mikolajczyk Portville, NY—Bobbie-Kay Lamberson Mikolajczyk of 239 Portville-Ceres Rd. died Saturday (April 28, 2007) in the Olean General Hospital after a long illness. Born November 20, 1947 in Salamanca, NY she was the daughter of Robert J. and Katherine B. “Katie” Beliles Lamberson. On May 21, 1968 in Olean, NY she married Stephen Mikolajczyk who survives. Mrs. Mikolajczyk was a 1965 graduate of Allegany High School and had attended Oneonta State Teachers College and St. Bonaventure University. She had been employed as a secretary for the former Olean Youth Corps and later as a clerk at Sears. She then operated Bobbie’s Babies Pet Shop from her home in Portville. Her main interests were her family, her enjoyment of music and her love of animals. Surviving besides her husband are 2 sons Stephen Mikolajczyk of Rochester and Christopher Mikolajczyk of Portville; 3 daughters Jenny Lee (Steve) Freebern of Angola, Katie (Kevin) Lewis of Randolph and Gretchen M. Mikolajczyk of Portville; 4 grandchildren Shannon Lewis, Tyler Lewis, Brian Freebern and Brittney Freebern; 2 sisters Sally-Jo B. Lamberson and George-Ann B. Lamberson, both of Allegany; 2 brothers Richard J. (Elaine) Lamberson of Allegany and Doran John (Lori) Lamberson of Cuba and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents she was predeceased by an infant brother Joseph Lamberson. Friends will be received at the Casey, Halwig & Hartle Funeral Home, Olean 3128 W. State Rd. Olean on Tuesday from 2-4 & 7-9pm. Funeral services will be held Wednesday (May 2, 2007) at 10:00am in the funeral home. Rev. Gregory Dobson, pastor of Sacred Heart Church in Portville, will officiate. Burial will be in St. Bonaventure Cemetery, Allegany. Memorials may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
