Donald R. Wilber
Allegany, NY—Donald R. Wilber of 4311 Five Mile Rd. died Thursday (May 17, 2007) in the Cuba Skilled Nursing Facility in Cuba, NY.
Born December 16, 1919 in Allegany, NY he was the son of Earl and Mae Wilber and was formerly married to Mary Hatfield who predeceased him.
Mr. Wilber was a lifelong farmer in Allegany. He also worked at the former Daystrom Furniture Co., and later for St. Bonaventure University.
Surviving are 1 son Kenyon (Cheryl) Wilber of Allegany; 1 daughter Diane (David) !MacClymont of Bunnell, FL; 8 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by 1 son Delmar Wilber on January 7, 2001; 1 sister Mary Wilber and 2 brothers Walter Wilber and Clarence Wilber.
Friends will be received at the Casey, Halwig & Hartle Funeral Home 3128 W. State Rd. Olean on Saturday (May 19, 2007) from 10:00am until noon at which time funeral and committal services will be held. Rev. James Mitchell, pastor of the Five Mile Baptist Church, will officiate. Burial will be in the Five Mile Cemetery, Allegany.
Memorials, if desired, may be made to the American Cancer Society.
