Esther Goldstein
Stanford CA—Esther Goldstein a former Olean resident, passed away June 3, 2007 at the Stanford Medical Center in Stanford CA.
Born July 3, 1913 in Olean, she was the daughter of Herman and Zeida Benjamin Levin. On November 10, 1940 she married Benjamin G. Goldstein who predeceased her on January 2, 1976.
She was a former member of the B’Nai Israel Temple in Olean.
Surviving is a daughter Rita (Donald) Levy of Saratoga CA, a sister Edith Meyer of Fairfield CT, 2 grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
Friends are invited to attend a graveside service to be held at the B’Nai Israel Cemetery on Friday June 8, 2007 at 2pm. Rabbi Charles Shalman will officiate. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Casey, Halwig & Hartle Funeral Home 3128 W. State Road Olean.
