Obituary of Fredric A. Isaman

Fredric A. Isaman, Jr. “Shorty” Franklinville, NY—Fredric A. Isaman, Jr. of 9271 Reynolds Rd. died Sunday (September 16, 2007) at The Pines Health and Rehabilitation Center, Machias Campus after a long illness. Born February 23, 1915 in Youngsville, Ohio he was the son of Fredric A. and Frances Bennett Isaman, Sr. On December 12, 1936 in Wheeling, W. Virginia he married Elaine Ruth Kreamer who predeceased him January 22, 1993. Mr. Isaman was raised in Youngstown and attended Ohio Wesleyan University. He had resided in Hinsdale and Franklinville for many years where he worked for Clark Brothers in Olean and later for the Ford Stamping Plant in Buffalo, retiring in 1970. He was a creative and inventive man who enjoyed working and spending time with his family. He enjoyed growing food and flowers in his gardens and he will be remembered as a man who enjoyed making people laugh with his mischievous and joking sense of humor. Surviving are 2 daughters Kathleen A. (Dale) Lafferty and Elaine R. Isaman, both of Franklinville; 5 sons James D. (Roselain) Isaman of Marysville, WA, Fredric A. (Doris) Isaman, III of Holland, NY, Truman W. (Terry) Isaman of West Valley, Thomas D. (Donna) Isaman of Franklinville and Jerry A. (Tracy) Isaman of Franklinville; 18 grandchildren; 29 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his wife he was predeceased by 3 brothers Irwin Isaman, Donald Isaman and Harold Isaman. There will be no visitation. Private burial services will be held at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are under the direction of the Casey, Halwig & Hartle Funeral Home, Olean.
