Obituary of Margaret E. Weatherley

Margaret E. “Marge” Weatherley Cuba, NY—Margaret E. “Marge” Weatherley of 5921 County Rd. 7D died Tuesday (December 11, 2007) at her home after a short illness. Born May 29, 1947 in Bradford, PA she was the daughter of Howard and Elizabeth Ellen Lute Robertson. On May 13, 1966 she married J. Karl Weatherley who survives. Mrs. Weatherley resided in Cuba for many years and had worked at Alcas Cutlery for a number of years. She later worked for !McHone Industries, Inc. in Salamanca. She loved playing bingo and enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. Surviving besides her husband are 2 daughters Debra (Chris) Armijo of Warsaw and Robin (Aaron “Pete”) Adams of Black Creek; 2 sons Howard (Michelle) Weatherley of Virginia and James Weatherley of Little Genesee; 10 grandchildren, including Daryl (Katie !McDermott) Armijo who resided with his grandparents for many years and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents and 2 brothers Howard A. Robertson, II and an infant brother James R. Robertson. There will be no visitation. Friends are invited to attend a memorial graveside service to be held Friday (December 14, 2007) at 2:00pm in Pleasant Valley Cemetery. Rev. Glenn Treaster will officiate. Memorials, if desired, may be made to Homecare and Hospice 1225 W. State St. Olean, NY 14760 or to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. Arrangements are under the direction of the Casey, Halwig & Hartle Funeral Home, Olean.
