Faye A. Stanton “Our beloved mother and grandmother” Allegany, NY—Faye A. Stanton of 1892 Four Mile Rd. Lot 15 died Tuesday (December 11, 2007) in Highland Health Care Center in Wellsville, NY after a short illness. Born May 20, 1918 in Olean, NY she was the daughter of Fred and Lena Keller Shine. On December 9, 1947 in Olean she married Clinton C. Stanton who predeceased her November 24, 1995. Mrs. Stanton was a lifelong resident of Olean and had formerly attended the Bethel Assembly of God in Olean. She enjoyed sewing and writing. Surviving are 1 son Gary (Rosalie) Stanton of Olean; 2 daughters Nancy (Ronald) Lawrence of Batavia and Marsha (George) Bryan of Allegany; 11 grandchildren and several great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband she was predeceased by 1 son David Stanton in 1959; 1 great grandson Robert Baker and 2 brothers Doran Shine and Robert Shine. Friends will be received at the Casey, Halwig & Hartle Funeral Home 3128 W. State Rd. Olean on Friday (December 14, 2007) from 11:00am until 1:00pm. Services will follow at 1:00pm in the funeral home. Burial will be in Mt. View Cemetery Veterans Field of Honor in Olean. Memorials may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
