John T. Fay Allegany—John T. Fay of 58 S. 7th Street in Allegany, passed away Sunday (December 23, 2007) at his home. Born October 1, 1953 in Philadelphia, PA, he was the son of Drs. Cornelius and Janet Askane Fay Jr. Mr. Fay was a graduate of Olean High School. He enjoyed listening to music, reading the Bible and loved to spend time with his family. Surviving are his 3 children Alecia Fay of Bedford, MA, Kyle Fay of Long Island City, NY, and Cornelius Fay of Olean; a brother Ret. Lt. Col. Cornelius R. (Kathy) Fay III, of Frederick, MD; 4 sisters Christine (Robert) Fay- Martin of Framingham, MA, Amy (Michael Burke) Fay of Olean, Katherine Fay of Brandon, FL, Janet (Geoff) Crawshaw of Needham, MA; and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents. Friends will be received at Casey, Halwig and Hartle Funeral Home 3128 W. State Road on Wednesday from 6-8pm. A mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday December 27, 2007 at 10 am at St. Mary of the Angels Church. Rev. Gregory Dobson, pastor, will be the celebrant. Burial will be in St. Bonaventure Cemetery. Memorials, if desired, can be made to the Cattaraugus County Community Services Department Guidepost Continuing Day Treatment Center 203 Laurens Street Olean, NY 14760
