Obituary of Elmer G. Wilber

Elmer G. Wilber Allegany – Elmer G. Wilber of 4480 Five Mile Rd. died Sunday January 22, 2006 at his home. Born in Humphrey, NY on August 26, 1918 he was a son of Gerald and Clara Button Wilber. Mr. Wilber worked as a farmer for Kent's Dairy and was also employed at Potter Lumber and Ontario Knife in Franklinville prior to his retirment. He liked hunting, gardening and enjoyed life. He is survived by one brother !DeForest Wilber of Allegany and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by four sisters Nina Wilber Weatherly, Elsie Crawford, Sadie Donovan and Ruth Wilber; two brothers Myron Wilber and Enoch Wilber. Friends will be received at the Casey, Halwig & Hartle Funeral Home, 3128 West State Rd., Olean on Wednesday January 25, 2006 from 2-4 and 7-9. Funeral; services will be conducted at the funeral home on Thursday January 26, 2006 at 1:00 PM. Rev. James Mitchell, pastor of the Five Mile Baptist Church will officiate. Burial will be in Five Mile Cemetery, Allegany. Memorials may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
