Gary L. Wilday “former Olean resident” Harrisburg, PA--Gary L. Wilday of 2311 N. Front St. Apt. 207 died Monday (December 4, 2006) in his home. Born June 11, 1947 in Olean, NY he was the son of Robert A. and Harriett A. Dutton Wilday, Sr. Mr. Wilday was a graduate of Hinsdale Central School and of Olean Business Institute. He had been employed by Raub Supply Co. in Olean prior to moving to Harrisburg in 1987 and was later employed as a sales consultant for Yale Electric Co. in Mechanicsburg, PA. He was a member of the Grace Chapel in Elizabethtown, PA and was an avid gun enthusiast. Surviving besides his mother of Olean are 1 daughter Gabrielle L. Wilday of New Cumberland, PA; 1 son Todd M. Wilday of Issaquah, WA; 1 grandson Oliver J. Wilday; 3 brothers Robert A. Wilday, Jr. of Eldred, PA, Martin E. Wilday of Austin, TX and Jeffrey P. Wilday of Olean; 1 sister Corinne A. Moore of Olean and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his father in 1990. Friends will be received at the Casey, Halwig & Hartle Funeral Home 3128 W. State Rd. Olean on Saturday (December 9, 2006) from 11:00am until 1:00pm. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home at 1:00pm. Rev. Alexandra Freer, New Ministries Specialist at the Cuba First Baptist Church, will officiate. Burial will be in Pleasant Valley Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association.
