EARL GOULD OLEAN - Earl Gould, a former resident of Olean and recently residing in Marienville, PA died Sunday January 16, 2005 at the Clarion Hospital, Clarion, PA. Born in Olean on April 1, 1933 he was a son of Walter and Edith Noble Gould. After graduating from high school, Mr. Gould served in the United States Army from 1953 through 1955. He was a truck driver for several years prior to his retirement. Mr. Gould enjoyed bowling and fishing and was a member of the VFW and the American Legion. He is survived by three daughters, Virginia, Marilyn and Diane; two sons, Carl and David; three brothers Ralph Gould of Franklinville, Elmer Gould Miller of Albion and Paul Gould of Twin Peaks, CA; two sisters, Betty Waller and Alice Chittended, both of Amarillo, TX. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by brothers Howard and Ronald Gould. Friends will be received on Friday January 21, 2005 at the Casey, Halwig & Hartle Funeral Home, 3128 NYS Rt. 417 West, Olean from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM at which time funeral and committal services will be conducted. Rev. John Bartz, pastor of Christ United Methodist Church will officiate. Burial will follow at Mt. View Cemetery, veteran's field of honor. Memorials may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
