Obituary of Diane M. Mohr

Diane M. Mohr "Loving wife, mother and friend" Portville, NY-- Diane M. Mohr of 79 N. Main St. died Tuesday (February 1, 2005) in Millard Fillmore Hospital, Buffalo, NY after a sudden illness. Born May 8, 1958 in Olean, NY she was the daughter of Allen and Bonnie Putt Gardner. On January 16, 1983 at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Allegany she married Randy L. Mohr who survives. Mrs. Mohr was a graduate of Allegany Central School and had been employed at AVX/OAP in Olean for the past twenty seven years. She was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church in Allegany and was known for being an excellent bowler and poker player. She loved to hunt and snowmobile and she especially enjoyed being with her family and friends. Surviving besides her husband are her mother of Allegany; a son Christian M. Mohr of Portville, now serving with the US Marines in Quantico, VA; a daughter Amber Jude Mohr of Portville, now serving at !McGuire Air Force Base in New Jersey; 7 brothers and sisters Deborah (Pat) Boylan of Minneapolis, MN, Cal (Lisa) Gardner of Allegany, Linda (Glenn) Hopkins of Portville, Cheryl (Edward) !LeBlanc of Allegany, Connie (Randy) Wetherby of Olean, Rodney (Melissa) Gardner of Gulfport, MS and Lisa (Don) Bryan of Lakeville, MN and several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. Friends will be received at the Casey, Halwig & Hartle Funeral Home 3128 W. State Rd. Olean today from 7-9pm and Friday from 2-4 & 7-9pm. Funeral services will be held Saturday (February 5, 2005) at 10:00am in St. John’s Lutheran Church, N. Fourth St. Allegany. Rev. Gerald leFeber, pastor, will officiate. Burial will be in St. Bonaventure Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. John’s Lutheran Church in Allegany or to Mt. Zion Christian Assembly 361 Front St. Olean, NY 14760.
