EDITH WILLIAMS BLANCO OLEAN - Edith Williams Blanco, a resident of the Pines Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center, Olean campus died Tuesday February 22, 2005 at the Olean General Hospital. Born April 22, 1933 she was a daughter of Harry A. and Gertrude A. Scharf Williams. Edith was employed by !SubCon Industries in Olean and also attended the Linwood Center. She is survived by six brothers Elmer (Alice) Williams of Machias, Gerry Williams of Buffalo, Harold (Dorothy) Williams of Kent, OH, Henry (Charlene) Williams of Chaffee, Herman (Betty) Williams of Jamestown and Jay (Faye) Williams of East Otto; two sisters Florence (Glen) Pratt of New Port Richey FL, and Scharlaine Klee of Irving, NY and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by a brother Norman Williams and sisters Ida Steinmetz, Edna Blakeslee and Helen Davis. Friends will be received on Friday February 25, 2005 at the Casey, Halwig & Hartle Funeral Home, 3128 West State Rd., Olean from 9:00 AM until 11:00 AM at which time funeral and committal services will be conducted. Rev. Ronald Reichman will officiate. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery, Springville, NY. Flowers are gratefully declined. Memorials may be made to the Pines Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center, 2245 West State Rd., Olean, NY 14760
