Dorothy S. Endersen "Former Jamestown Resident" Olean – Dorothy S. Endersen, a resident of Cranberry Court and formerly of Jamestown, NY died Saturday March 5, 2005 at the Olean General Hospital. Born in Hartfield, NY on February 4, 1925 she was a daughter of Burton and Mae Graper Scofield. On June 17, 1948 in Warren, PA she married George Endersen who predeceased her April 5, 1999. She was a 1941 graduate of Mayville Central Schools. Dorothy was employed for 18 years as a legal secretary, retiring in 1988. She enjoyed travel, especially cruises and golf trips with her husband. She is survived by two sons Bill (Sue) Endersen of Minneapolis, MN and Steven (Cindy) Endersen of Indianapolis, IN; a daughter Barbara (Gary Clancy) Endersen of Allegany; three grandchildren; a sister Marie Nelson and a brother Charles (Barbara) Scofield of Williamsville, NY. In addition to her husband she was predeceased by an infant son David in 1952 and a brother Robert Scofield in 1997. There will be no public visitations. A memorial service will be held at a later date at the convenience of the family. Burial will be in Lakeview Cemetery, Jamestown, NY. Arrangements are under the direction of the Casey, Halwig & Hartle Funeral Home, 3128 West State Rd., Olean. Memorials may be made to any SPCA or to the First Presbyterian Church of Allegany, 44 North Third Street, Allegany, NY 14706
