Robert E. Nolder Olean, NY-- Robert E. Nolder of 870 N. Fourth St. died Thursday (March 31, 2005) in his home. Born April 17, 1927 in Olean he was the son of William and Nellie Jobe Nolder. On June 21, 1952 he married the former Dolores J. Eisenhart who predeceased him on July 15, 1992. Mr. Nolder was a veteran of the Naval Air Force during WWII and had been employed for 38 years as a welder at Dresser-Rand, retiring in 1989. He was a member of the Full Gospel Assembly Church of Olean and was an avid gardener. He also enjoyed participating in STARS radio airplane club. Surviving are two daughters Lynne (Herbert) Kent of Weare, NH and Lisa (Frank) Hart of Jessup, MD; 2 brothers Arthur Nolder of Allegany and Edward Nolder of Roulette, PA and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his wife he was predeceased by 2 brothers William "Jim" Nolder and Richard Nolder. Friends will be received at the Casey, Halwig & Hartle Funeral Home 3128 W. State Rd. Olean on Sunday from 7-9pm and Monday from 2-4 & 7-9pm. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday (April 5, 2005) at 10:00am. Rev. Robert Goode, Olean General Hospital Chaplain, will officiate. Burial will be in Pleasant Valley Cemetery, Olean.
