Obituary of Lillian Driscoll

Lillian Driscoll Olean, NY-- Lillian Driscoll of 816 N. Union St. died Monday (July 25, 2005) in her home. Born June 26, 1917 in Olean, NY she was the daughter of Joseph and Sophie Skala Kwiatkowski. On October 16, 1941 she married James "App" Driscoll who predeceased her July 7, 1991. Mrs. Driscoll was a member of St. John’s Church in Olean. Surviving are 2 daughters Mary Ellen (Robert) Ulasewicz and Miss Kathleen Driscoll, both of Olean; a son Joseph "Pat" (Kathy) Driscoll of Olean; 7 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; 5 sisters Gertrude Woodgie of Olean, Cecilia Harrington of Olean, Theresa (Andy) Leaskey of North Carolina, Mary Porrello and Ann (Joe) Kubiak, both of Olean; 2 brothers Vincent (Gen) Kwiatkowski of Olean and Joseph (Lucy) Kwiatkowski of Henderson, NV and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband she was predeceased by 3 brothers Francis Kwiatkowski, John Kwiatkowski and Edward Kwiatkowski and a sister Sabina Nitsche. Friends will be received at the Casey, Halwig & Hartle Funeral Home 3128 W. State Rd. Olean on Wednesday from 2 until 6pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Thursday (July 28, 2005) at 11:00am in St. John’s Church. Rev. Jerome Stelmach will officiate in the absence of Msgr. William Wangler. Burial will be in St. Bonaventure Cemetery. Memorials, if desired, may be made to St. John’s Church or to Homecare and Hospice 1225 W. State St. Olean, NY 14760.
