Obituary of Suzanne Kosinski Samson

Suzanne Kosinski Samson Olean – Suzanne Kosinski Samson of 116 South 4th Street died unexpectedly on Saturday August 20, 2005. Born in Olean, NY on June 18, 1933 she was the daughter of John and Margaret Taylor Kosinski. On September 27, 1997 at the First Baptist Church of Olean she married Douglas Rue Samson who survives. Mrs. Samson was employed at Bradner’s and later worked in the home health care field prior to retiring. She was a member of the Allegany Baptist Church and a former member of the First Baptist Church of Olean. In addition to her husband she is survived by five children. Carol (Loyd) Snell of Jonesboro, AR, Dorothy (Rev. Gregory) Stephens of Chattanooga, TN, Patricia (Steven) Eddy of Jacksonville, FL, Donald (Patricia) Samson and Raymond (Ann) Samson, both of Chenango Forks, NY; twenty-three grandchildren; four great grandchildren; several cousins and many dear friends. Friends will be received at the First Baptist Church of Olean on Wednesday August 24, 2005 from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM at which time funeral services will be conducted. Rev. Frank Hayman, pastor of the Allegany Baptist Church will officiate. Committal services and burial will follow at Mt. View Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the First Baptist Church of Olean or to the Allegany Baptist Church. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Casey, Halwig & Hartle Funeral Home, 3128 West State Rd., Olean.
