Kathy S. Ortega
Olean – Kathy S. Ortega of Sullivan Street died Thursday October 20, 2005 at the Buffalo General Hospital following a lengthy illness. Born in Olean on February 5, 1971 she was a daughter of Robert and Sharon Stolt Prince. Kathy was a graduate of BOCES where she received her LPN. She was employed as a nurse in Texas for several years prior to her illness.
She is survived by her son Kody Ortega of Olean; her fiancé Shawn Wilcox of Olean; two sisters Tammy Stolt and Barbara Prince, both of Covington, KY and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by both parents.
Friends will be received on Monday October 24, 2005 at the Casey, Halwig & Hartle Funeral Home, 3128 West State Rd., Olean from 3:00 - 4:00 PM at which time funeral and committal services will be conducted. Rev. T. James Snodgrass, Rector of St. Stephan's Episcopal Church will officiate. Memorials may be made to the Marie Lorenz Dialysis Center, Olean, NY.
