Obituary of Eileen Corcoran

Eileen Corcoran Olean – Eileen Corcoran of Garden Avenue died Monday October 24, 2005 at her residence. Born in Olean, NY on June 18, 1916 she was a daughter of Andrew and Catherine Kulkowska Jadlowski. On August 3, 1940 she married John "Pete" Corcoran who predeceased her on October 28, 1976. Mrs. Corcoran was employed as a waitress at the Olean House and L' Alcove prior to her retirement. She enjoyed playing bingo. She is survived by two sisters Julia Stevens of Avon, MA and Jessie Gilmore of Knox, PA; many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by brothers Joseph Slevinski, Sylvester Jadlowski, Rudy Jadlowski, John Jadlowski, Ted Jadlowski and Ed Jadlowski; two sisters Jennie Slevinski and Agnes Jadlowski. There will be no public visitations. Graveside services and burial will be conducted on Thursday October 27, 2005 at 1:00 PM at Pleasant Valley Cemetery, Olean. Memorials may be made to a charity of the donor's choice. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Casey, Halwig & Hartle Funeral Home, 3128 West State Rd., Olean.
