Mary Elizabeth Westlake
Great Valley – Mary Elizabeth Westlake of Humphrey Road, Great Valley died Saturday December 24, 2005. Born in Finney, KY on April 7, 1924 she was a daughter of Floyd and Anna Mae Troxell Westlake. She was a graduate of !McKinley High School in Chicago, IL.
Ms. Westlake was a former member of the First Baptist Church of Chicago. She was employed for National Fuel in Oil City, PA. She was an excellent cook, loved music and enjoyed playing the piano. Mary cared for her father for many years prior to his death.
She is survived by two sisters !MaeBelle Scott of Allegany and Alice L. Westlake of Franklin, PA; one brother Warren (Margie) Westlake of Gravois Mills, MO; step sister Adella Granquist of Geneva, IL and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents.
Friends will be received on Tuesday December 27, 2005 at the Casey, Halwig & Hartle Funeral Home, 3128 West State Rd., Olean from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM at which time funeral and committal services will be conducted. Rev. Frank Hayman, pastor of Allegany Baptist Church will officiate. Burial will be in Green Cemetery, Great Valley, NY. Memorials may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
