ROBERT D. RUSSELL
OLEAN - Robert D. Russell of West Riverside Drive and formerly of Dell City, OK died Wednesday October 8, 2003 at Strong Memorial Hospital. Born in Olean on March 20, 1939 he was the son of Raymond and Georgia Ostergard Russell.
Mr. Russell served in the United States Army. He was employed for many years for General Motors retiring in 1980. Mr. Russell enjoyed stained glass artwork and bowling.
He is survived by a daughter Deborah (Thomas) Jackson of Wellsville, NY; three sons Dennis (Susan) Russell of Portville, Timothy (Sheryl) Russell of Elliott, ME and Brian Russell of California; sister Marcia (Frank) Snyder of Olean; five grandchildren and two step grandchildren; numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
There will be no public visitation. A private graveside service will be held at the convenience of the family. Memorials may be made to a charity of the donor's choice. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Casey, Halwig & Hartle Funeral Home, 3128 West State Rd., Olean.
