WILLIAM B. COLLIN ALLEGANY – William B. Collin of 3575 Buffalo Rd., died Thursday January 15, 2004 at the Olean General Hospital. Born in Ottawa, Canada on January 11, 1929 he was a son of Louis P. and Jean A. Baxter Collin. Mr. Collin was a graduate of Alfred – Almond High School. He was a long time resident of Almond and was employed by the State of New York Department of Transportation. He moved to Olean in 1974 where he was employed for Sub Con for 20 years retiring in 1994. He has been a resident of the !ReHabilitation Center's residential program since 1981. Bill was an avid Buffalo Bills fan. He enjoyed following current events, going out for coffee and traveling with his friends. He is survived by a brother Robert Collin of Lyndonville, NY; many cousins including Mary Sybil Snow of Canandaigua and many close friends. He was predeceased by his father in 1938 and his mother in 1989. Friends will be received on Monday January 19, 2004 from 2-3 PM at which time funeral and committal services will be conducted. Rev. Gary Larson, pastor of the First Presbyterian Church, Olean will officiate. Burial will be in the Alfred Cemetery, Alfred, NY. Memorials may be made to the !ReHabilitation Center, 1439 Buffalo Street, Olean, NY 14760
