CHARLOTTE E. COLE OLEAN – Charlotte E. Cole of West Sullivan Street died Sunday January 18, 2004 at the Olean General Hospital. Born in Bradford, PA on April 24, 1945 she was a daughter of Nels A. and Winefred E. Hunt Northrop. In June of 1964 she married Rodney Cole who survives. She was a member of Rhema Christian Fellowship and also the Church of the Nazarene. Charlotte read her bible avidly. She was a very giving person and enjoyed helping other people. In addition to her husband she is survived by her mother Winefred Northrop of Olean, one son, Rodney P Cole of Virginia Beach, VA; three sisters, Judy Shoup of Olean, Kathy (Lee) Wells of Virginia Beach, VA, Ginger (Tom) Chapin of Turtlepoint, PA; one grandson, Joshua Cole and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her father Nels Northrop. Friends will be received on Wednesday January 21, 2004 at the Casey, Halwig & Hartle Funeral Home, 3128 West State Rd., Olean from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM at which time funeral and committal services will be conducted. Rev. John Cramer, pastor of the Church of the Nazarene will officiate. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
