Obituary of Arlene H. Randall

Arlene H. Randall Allegany, NY-- Arlene H. Randall, formerly of Colonial Village and recently of the Bradford Manor, Bradford, PA died Thursday (January 22, 2004) in the Bradford Manor. Born June 22, 1916 in Oil City, PA she was the daughter of John and Patty Hughes Rarer. On May 11, 1937 in Allegany, NY she married Harold W. Randall who predeceased her February 9, 1983. Mrs. Randall attended school in Franklin, PA and resided there until her marriage. Upon moving to the Olean and Maplehurst areas she and her husband were both employed for the former Rhode’s Bakery in Hinsdale and she later worked for Acme Electric Co. until 1968. She returned to Franklin in 1972 and began working for Valvco Machine Co., later moving to Allegany in 1993. She was formerly very active as a member of the Hinsdale American Legion Auxiliary and also volunteered for the Camp Fire Girls. Surviving are 2 daughters Patricia (Bill) Seigford of Elizabethtown, PA and Marlea (Bill) Hurlburt of Olean; 1 son Ronald Randall of Cuba, NY; 6 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; 1 sister Helen Reagle of Franklin, PA and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband she was predeceased by 2 brothers Wesley Rarer and Jack Rarer. Friends will be received at the Casey, Halwig & Hartle Funeral Home 3128 W. State Rd. Olean on Saturday (January 24, 2004) from 11:00am until 1:00pm. Funeral services will immediately follow at 1:00pm in the funeral home. Pastor Richard T. Kester, of the Maplehurst Baptist Church, will officiate. Burial will be in Allegany Cemetery. Memorials, if desired, may be made to the Maplehurst Baptist Church or to Gideon’s International 2900 Lebanon Rd. Nashville, TN 37214.
