Obituary of Dawn C. Foye

Allegany, NY- Dawn C. Whitehead Foye, 50, passed away unexpectedly Saturday (September 28, 2024) at home with her loving husband of 25 years, Sean Foye, by her side. Born April 17, 1974, in Olean, she was the daughter of Allan and Cindy Whitehead who survive. Dawn was a 1992 graduate of Olean High School. She went on to work for the The Pines of Olean as an LPN. Dawn loved to travel, to be on the beach, and enjoyed the sunshine. She also enjoyed shopping, crafting, and watching the Buffalo Bills. Dawn was devoted to her family and enjoyed the time she spent with them. In addition to her loving husband and parents, she is survived by her children Danelle (Kyle) Crowley and RJ (Hailee) Pilon; grandchildren Karson, Landon, Kaiden, Zaidyn, and Paisley; her siblings Allan (Tonya) Whitehead, Jason (Amber) Whitehead, and Deanna (Dave) Zenner; her nieces and nephews Willy, Brooke, Jayleigh, Jared,Ciera, Kalynne and Tristin; and several great nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her son Nicholas Whitehead in 1999 and her paternal and maternal grandparents. The family will receive friends on Wednesday (October 2, 2024) from 5-8 at the Casey, Halwig, and Hartle Funeral Home, 3128 West State Road, Olean. A funeral will be held Thursday (October 3, 2024) at 11 am in the funeral home. Burial will be in Pleasant Valley Cemetery, Olean.
