Lucy Ann Pixley "loving wife and mother" Franklinville, NY-- Lucy Ann Pixley of 7365 S. Main Street died Sunday (February 22, 2004) in the Olean General Hospital. Born November 4, 1937 in Ischua, NY she was the daughter of Glenn and Gladys Doty. On December 11, 1954 in Franklinville she married Norman L. Pixley who survives. They were soon to celebrate 50 years of marriage. Mrs. Pixley was a graduate of Franklinville Central School and had resided in Franklinville all of her life. She was a homemaker and she enjoyed crocheting and doing crossword puzzles. She especially enjoyed being with her family and friends. She was a devoted and loving wife and mother who will be sadly missed by everyone she touched in her life. Surviving besides her husband are 3 children Barbara (Jeff) Coen, Johnny (Lynnette) Pixley and Lorraine (Jeff) Linderman, all of Franklinville; 14 grandchildren; 4 brothers Ronald (Marion) Doty of FL, Walter (Ruth) Doty of Franklinville, William (Judy) Doty of Fl and Raymond (Jo) Doty of Pa. and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by 1 brother Thomas Doty. At Mrs. Pixley’s request, a visitation or funeral service will not be observed. Memorials, if desired, may be made to the Franklinville Volunteer Ambulance Squad.
