Obituary of Jerome F. Sullivan

Olean- Jerome F. Sullivan passed away Friday (November 17, 2023) at Olean General Hospital after a lengthy illness.
Born June 15, 1952, in Stillwater, OK, he was the son of John and Florence Stile Sullivan. He married Lois Sullivan in Olean who predeceased him in 2022.
Jerry was a graduate of Archbishop Walsh High School. He enlisted in the US Army in 1972 and served until 1974.
After the military he began working for American Airlines and later retired from Cutco Corp in Olean. Jerry was a member of the Stephens Club in Olean.
He was an avid Notre Dame fan and loved to play golf.
Jerry is survived by 2 sons, Adam Sullivan of Bradford, PA, and Jerome Sullivan of Jamestown; 1 stepson, Jason Hunkin of Olean; 1 brother, Thomas Sullivan of Pocasset, MA and several grandchildren.
In addition to his wife and parents he was predeceased by a brother John Sullivan.
A memorial service will be held in the Spring and will be announced at a later date.

Arrangements are under the direction of the Casey, Halwig, and Hartle Funeral Home, Olean.
