JANET V. NENNO Longtime area waitress ALLEGANY – Janet V. Nenno, formerly of Colonial Village died Friday March 5, 2004 at the Pines Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center, Olean Campus. Janet was born in Celeron, NY on October 2, 1915. She was employed for many years as a waitress at numerous local restaurants including the Palace in Salamanca, Country Garden, Beef and Barrel, Paul's Steak House and L' Alcove Restaurant where she retired at the age of 77. Mrs. Nenno was a member of the Rhema Christian Fellowship and a member of the Grand Lodge of the Ladies Society of the Brotherhood of Locomotive Fireman and Enginemen. She enjoyed crocheting and tending to her flower gardens. She is survived by three children, Joyce Whitmer of Allegany, Barbara (Ronald) Isaman of Portville and Dan (Zeny) Crocker of Tampa, FL; 9 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren and 7 great-great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husbands, Alan Touro, Daniel Crocker and William Nenno; a son James Dennis and a son-in-law F. Leroy Whitmer. Friends will be received at the Casey, Halwig & Hartle Funeral home, 3128 West State Rd., Olean on Monday March 8, 2004 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM. Funeral and committal services will be conducted on Tuesday March 9, 2004 at Rhema Christian Fellowship at 11:00 AM. Rev. Michael Nolder, pastor will officiate. Burial will be in Mt. View Cemetery, Olean. Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, the Pines Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center or to the Allegany Fire Department.
