Margaret M. Lorenzini "loving wife, mother and grandmother" Olean, NY-- Margaret M. Lorenzini of 733 Garden Ave. died Thursday (April 29, 2004) in Hamot Medical Center in Erie, Pa after a long illness. Born October 16, 1923 in Olean, NY she was the daughter of Charles and Laura Howe Welch. On April 16, 1946 in St. Mary of the Angels Church in Olean she married Gino Lorenzini who survives. Mrs. Lorenzini was a graduate of Olean High School and resided in Olean all of her life. She was first employed for the former Thatcher Glass Co. and later for the former Top Value Store in Olean. She was a member of St. Mary of the Angels Church. Surviving besides her husband are one son David (Nancy) Lorenzini of Ithaca, NY; two daughters Christine (Warner) Page of Olean and Mary (Douglas) Richard of Satsuma, FL; four grandchildren Daniel Lorenzini, Ann Marie Lorenzini, Matthew Page and Whitney Page; two sisters Jean (Alba) Dodge of Olean and Florence Brinkman of Rochester; three brothers Harry Welch of New Jersey, Robert (Margie) Welch of Shinglehouse, PA and Charles (Mary) Welch of Olean and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by one sister Marian Wallen. Friends will be received on Sunday from 2pm until 5pm at the Casey, Halwig & Hartle Funeral Home 3128 W. State St. Olean. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday (May 3, 2004) at 10:00am in St. Mary of the Angels Church. Rev. Gregory Dobson, pastor, will be the celebrant. Burial will be in St. Bonaventure Cemetery. Memorials, if desired, may be made to St. Mary of the Angels Church.
