So very sorry to hear of her passing. Karen was so kind and thoughtful and knew how to best share her passion of history and learning with others. I most appreciated her sense of humor. She always offered words of encouragement and guided me throughout graduate school. I cannot pick up a book on colonial America without thinking of her. I feel very lucky to have known her. My sincerest condolences to her family.

So many memories of such a marvelous woman. Always putting up with us while we made messes in the play room and in the basement of 404 Laurens street. You were always there for us whenever we had any issues and you made the most wonderful person in the world. Daniel Tate IV, my childhood best friend. We’re all busy with our own paths In life now but I know I’ll always have a friend in Danny. It’s an honor to have known you and I cannot thank you enough for all your guidance. Rest In Peace Karen, I’ll never forget you.

I was so lucky to have Dr. Robbins my freshman & sophomore year. Sadly during sophomore year I wasn’t able to have her the full year. I learned so much from her during US history & she was so passionate with what she taught. I am so very sorry about your loss and I hope you keep her memory alive.
