FRANCES GREENBERG ABRAMS
OLEAN - Frances Greenberg Abrams died Tuesday November 4, 2003 at Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester. Born in Bradford, PA on December 10, 1918 she was the daughter of Benjamin and Victoria Brantz Greenberg. On June 23, 1940 she married Paul Abrams who predeceased her June 1, 1994.
Mrs. Abrams was a member of B'Nai Israel Congregation and the Daughters of Israel. She co-owned Ben Electric Co. along with her two sons, retiring in 2000.
She is survived by two sons; Stephen A. (Kathleen) Abrams and Arnold S. (Linda) Abrams, both of Allegany and five grandchildren Richele (Michael) Anastasia, David Abrams, Anne Abrams, Michael Abrams and Andrew Abrams.
Friends will be received on Thursday November 6, 2003 at the Casey, Halwig & Hartle Funeral Home, 3128 West State Rd., Olean from 5 - 8 PM only. Funeral services will be conducted at the funeral home on Friday November 7, 2003 at noon. Dr. David Shulman will officiate. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to B'Nai Israel Congregation, 127 South Barry Street, Olean or to a charity of the donor's choice.
