Obituary of Larry J. Clark

Larry J. Clark "loving family man, loving husband" Olean, NY-- Larry J. Clark of 131 N. 12th St. died Tuesday (August 24, 2004) in the Erie County Medical Center, Buffalo. Born November 30, 1941 in Olean, NY he was the son of Lawrence and Evelyn M. Ryan Clark and he was formerly married to Nancy Rhinehart. He later married Diana Lespier who survives. Mr. Clark was a lifelong resident of Olean and had attended Olean schools. He worked as a pipe fitter for Dresser Rand for over 27 years prior to his retirement in 1998 due to disability. He was a member of the Street Masters Car Club and he enjoyed working on cars, motocross and riding his motorcycle. He will be remembered as a man who loved the outdoors and he especially enjoyed spending time with friends and family. Surviving besides his wife are one daughter Debra (Quentin) Sexton of Olean; two sons Gregory (Sharon Feely) Clark of Olean and Troy Clark of Allegany; one stepdaughter Bessie Sanchez of Olean; three grandchildren Nicole Sexton, Tanya Clark and Luv-Lee Sanchez; one sister Barbara Vandernick of Las Vegas, NV and several nieces, nephews, cousins and an uncle. Friends will be received at the Casey, Halwig & Hartle Funeral Home 3128 W. State Rd. Olean on Friday from 2-4 & 7-9pm. Funeral services will be held Saturday (August 28, 2004) at 1:00pm in the funeral home. The pastoral staff of St. Mary of the Angels Church will officiate. Burial will be in St. Bonaventure Cemetery. Memorials, if desired, may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
