Mildred R. Stuck
Allegany, NY Mildred R. "Millie" Stuck, of Cranberry Court Apartments, formerly of the North Nine Mile Rd. passed away Saturday (July 21, 2018) at the home of her son and daughter-in-law Edward and Cynthia Beatty, after a short illness.
Born January 11, 1934 at her family's home on the North Nine Mile Rd. she was the daughter of Harold Vincent and Edna Elizabeth Allen Phearsdorf. In 1954 she married James P. Beatty who predeceased her in 1970. She then married Wayne E. Oliver. They later divorced. She was married to Robert W. Stuck who passed away in 1986.
Millie was a 1952 graduate of Allegany Central School and worked for Speers Co. in Bradford, PA for a period of time. She then worked several years for Acme Electric Co. in Allegany.
She will be remembered for her love of life and family. She enjoyed planting a garden, cooking, bowling, crocheting and playing cards. She also enjoyed being active with the Allegany Sixty Plus.
Surviving are 4 children Brian (Mary) Beatty of Olean, Randy (Jane) Beatty of Frederick, MD, Edward (Cynthia) Beatty of Allegany and Laurie Oliver of Allegany; 11 grandchildren, Scott, Heather, Elida, Barbara, Joellen, Sam, Alex, Brianne, Nicholas, Zachary and Nathaniel; 12 great grandchildren, Sabreena, Sydney, Gabe, Ryan, Matt, Caitlyn, Allison, Nicholas, Cody, Mason, Odin and Lennox; 1 brother James (Judy) Phearsdorf of Olean; 1 sister Dollie (Bob) McCartney of Duke Center, PA, several nieces and nephews and a sister-in-law Joyce Forrest of Allegany. She also leaves behind many friends at Cranberry Court Apartments, especially her very special friend Mary Butchello.
In addition to her husbands she was predeceased by 2 daughters LuAnn Kellogg and Linda Sue Beatty and a brother and sister-in-law Ronald and Thelma Phearsdorf.
Friends will be received on Thursday from 5-8pm at the Casey, Halwig & Hartle Funeral Home, 3128 W. State Rd. Olean. Private burial services will be held Friday (July 24, 2018) at Allegany Cemetery.
