Obituary of Shirley J. Randall Struble

Shirley J. Randall Struble "Loving mother & Nana" Allegany, NY-- Shirley J. Randall Struble of 3787 Five Mile Rd. died Saturday (September 18, 2004) in the Olean General Hospital after a sudden illness. Born December 29, 1933 in Olean, NY she was the daughter of Lee !McAvoy and Nina Bell Hollister Randall. On November 8, 1949 in Allegany, NY she married William Paul Struble, Jr. who predeceased her May 27, 1992. Mrs. Struble was a resident of Allegany most of her life and had worked for the Acme Electric Co. and also for the Birch Run Country Club prior to her retirement in 1970. She will be remembered as a person who loved her home and family and her cat and dog. She enjoyed Irish music and Western movies. Surviving are six daughters Dawn (Francis) Ginter of Cuba, Kimberly Struble of Houston, TX, Brenda (Sergio) Barragan of Allegany, Hope (Zubair) Ali of Houston, TX, Rebecca (Terry Larson) Struble of Allegany and Maggie Struble Revuelta of Houston, TX; 11 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; a sister Alice Isaman of Allegany; David Struble; several nieces and nephews, especially Ed Isaman, and several great nieces and great nephews. In addition to her husband she was predeceased by two sisters Margaret "Skip" Gallets in 2001 and Gladys Randall who died as a teenager and one brother Francis Randall who died as an infant. Friends will be received on Monday from 2-4 & 7-9pm in the Casey, Halwig & Hartle Funeral Home 3128 W. State Rd. Olean. Funeral services will be held Tuesday (September 21, 2004) at 1:00pm in the funeral home. Rev. Robert Goode, Olean General Hospital chaplain, will officiate. Burial will be in Five Mile Cemetery, Allegany.
