William R. Lute, II
Hinsdale, NY William R. Lute, II of 2438 Maine Hill Rd. passed away accidentally on Monday (March 12, 2018).
Born March 31, 1978 in Olean he was the son of William Lute and Linda Saxer Price. On April 12, 2003 in Hinsdale he married Elizabeth J. Gleason who survives.
William was a 1997 graduate of Hinsdale Central School. He was first employed for 11 years as a truck driver for AR Trucking in Bradford, PA and currently was a driver for Crabb Oil Co. in Arcade.
He enjoyed his home and property, especially landscaping and keeping a trimmed yard. He also enjoyed his hobby of raising beef cattle. For relaxation he loved being outdoors fishing, camping and building huge bonfires for family and friends to enjoy. He shared with his father a passion for restoring antique Farmall tractors and they kept a collection of at least 10 of the tractors on his property. He loved his Border Collie companion, Bernard. He will be deeply missed by his family, his wife's family and his many friends.
Surviving in addition to his wife are his mother and step father Linda and Gerald Price of Allegany; his father William Lute of Allegany; 2 daughters Hannah Lute and Sarah Lute, both at home; a sister Linnea (Gene Fanton) Lute of North Carolina; a brother Jacob (Tabatha Boysha) Lute of Olean and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was predeceased by a sister Tammy Lyn Lute on June 20, 1990.
Friends will be received on Friday (March 16, 2018) from 10am until noon at the Casey, Halwig & Hartle Funeral Home 3128 W. State Rd. Olean. Services will immediately follow at noon in the funeral home. Minister Rick Price of the Church of Christ in Bradford will officiate. Burial will be in Allegany Cemetery.
