Allegany, NY Debra L. Wilday of 3974 Route 417 passed away peacefully Saturday (February 10, 2018) at the Erie County Medical Center in Buffalo, surrounded by her loving children.
Born December 15, 1954 in Arkansas, she was the daughter of William C. and Molly L. White Howard, Sr.
Debra was a lifelong resident of Allegany and was a 1972 graduate of Allegany Central School. She was currently employed for many years for AVX in Olean.
She recently had been attending the Basilica of St. Mary of the Angels. She loved time spent with her family and enjoyed the company of her cats.
Surviving are 3 children Kristen (Dana) Batesky of Olean, Daniel (Vanessa Eng) Wilday of Seattle, WA and Jamie (Steve Lexer) Wilday of Buffalo; a grandson Foster Wilday; 1 sister Linda (Steve Brocious) Howard of Olean; 2 brothers William C. (Mari) Howard, Jr. of Olean and Robert P. Howard of Harmony, NC and several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her parents, a grandson Gage Wilday and a nephew Kyle Howard.
Friends will be received on Tuesday from 4-7pm at the Casey, Halwig & Hartle Funeral Home, 3128 W. State Rd. Olean. A prayer service will begin on Wednesday (February 14, 2018) at 9:30am in the funeral home. A funeral service will follow at 10:00am at the Basilica of St. Mary of the Angels. Rev. David Tourville, assistant pastor, will be the celebrant. Burial will follow in St. Bonaventure Cemetery.
