Obituary of Vianna M. Bouch

Vianna M. Bouch Olean, NY-- Vianna M. Bouch, a recent resident of N. Fourth St. and a former resident of Colonial Village in Allegany died Saturday (October 2, 2004) in the Bradford Ecumenical Home in Bradford, PA after a long illness. Born March 3, 1915 in Olean, NY she was the daughter of Truman H. and Susie Loop Wilkins. Mrs. Bouch was a graduate of Wellsville High School and had been a resident of this area all of her life. She had worked for several businesses, including being a hostess at the L’Alcove Restaurant, working as a cashier in theaters and stores and also working as an admissions clerk at the Olean Medical Group and at the former St. Francis Hospital. She then became a real estate broker, having worked for Century 21, Realty World, Pepper and Crandall, and she owned and operated her own office, The Golden Rule, before retiring. She was a former longtime member of the First Free Methodist Church of Allegany, former member of the NYS Board of Realtors, the Olean General Hospital Auxiliary and Mothers Against Drunk Drivers. Surviving are one son Donald (Christine) Bouch of Allegany; three grandchildren Christopher Bouch, Michelle Bouch and Matthew Bouch; one sister Ethlyn (Keith) Mayer of Bradford, PA; one brother Charles Stark of Angelica and many wonderful nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by four brothers Clifford Wilkins, Marvel Wilkins, Darrol Wilkins and Clark Wilkins and three sisters Mary La Ruche, Clara Van Ness and Beulah Deming. At Mrs. Bouch’s request, there will be no visitation. Friends are invited to attend a memorial service to be held Thursday (October 14, 2004) at a time and place to be announced. Burial will be in Pleasant Valley Cemetery. Memorials, if desired, may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice. Arrangements are under the direction of the Casey, Halwig & Hartle Funeral Home, Olean.
