STELLA BURDICK WARSAW – Stella Burdick, formerly of Olean died Saturday October 9, 2004 at the Wyoming Cou8nty Nursing Facility. Born in Olean on June 6, 1924 she was a daughter of Frank and Victoria Czajkowski Zapel. Mrs. Burdick enjoyed playing cards, working on jigsaw puzzles, taking walks and was an active member of the Circle of Friends Social Club in Warsaw. She is survived by three daughters, Gail Cangialosi of Rochester, Diana Fischer of Wellsville and Betsy Burdick Baker; two sons Albert Burdick, Jr and Stephen Burdick, both of Rochester; several grandchildren; sisters Jean Bush of Ft. Pierce, FL, Mary Baker of Olean and Helen Bush of Goldsboro, NC. She is also survived by her loving caregiver, Mrs. Edith Kelly with whom she resided. She was predeceased by brothers, Ben Snopkowski, Stephen Snopkowski, Leon Snopkowski, John Snopkowski, Joseph Snopkowski, Frank Zapel and Edwin Zapel. There will be no public visitations. Memorial graveside services will be held at a date and time to be announced. Memorials may be made to Cirle of Friends, 27 West Buffalo Street, Warsaw, NY 14569. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of the Casey, Halwig & Hartle Funeral Home, 3128 West State Rd., Olean.
