RICHARD B. KELLOGG, SR. ALLEGANY - Richard B. Kellogg, Sr. a resident of the Bradford Manor and formerly of 3974 Route 417 died Thursday November 13, 2003 at the Bradford Manor. Born in West Clarksville, NY on April 10, 1922 he was a son of Charles B. and Carrie Sanford Kellogg. On August 21, 1942 in Addison, NY he married Maxine E. Bird who survives. Mr. Kellogg worked for several years for the former Weston Lumber Co. in Olean and also for Stroehmann's Bakery. He later was a self employed truck driver prior to his retirement. In addition to his wife he is survived by one daughter Sandra (John) Wells of Munith, MI; two sons Richard B. (Sheree) Kellogg, Jr. and Loren J. (Julie) Kellogg both of Allegany; seven grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; three step grandchildren; three step great grandchildren; two sisters Esther (Trevor) Hughes of Utica and Carrie Allen of Gainesville, GA and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by three sisters Ortha !VanSkiver, Phyllis Spencer and Fern Kellogg; two brothers Laverne Kellog and Nelson Kellogg. There will be no public visitations. A private memorial service will be held at a later date. Memorials may be made to Alzheimer's Association of Western NY. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Casey, Halwig & Hartle Funeral Home, 3128 West State Rd., Olean.
