Obituary of Scott W. Bennett

Scott W. Bennett Hinsdale, NY Scott W. Bennett of 4493 Five Mile Rd. passed away unexpectedly Monday (August 8, 2016) upon arrival at the Olean General Hospital. Born January 2, 1970 in Olean he was the son of Edgar J. See and Jeanie Stearns Cowell. On August 28, 2010 in Ischua he married Heather L. Grover who survives. Scott was a graduate of Hinsdale Central School and began delivering for the Olean Times Herald. For a period of time he worked for the former Valley Recycling. He returned to delivering papers and had the rural route covering Salamanca, Great Valley, Ellicottville and Killbuck. He enjoyed stock car racing and his friends, including his Times Herald "family" but he most enjoyed being home to care for his family. He will be loved and greatly missed by his family which besides his wife includes his mother of Bolivar; 9 children Denise (Bill) See of Allegany, Danielle Bennett of Hinsdale, Dawn Bennett of Olean, Destiny Bennett of Hinsdale, Xander Grover, Xackery Grover, Xeth Grover, Xackera Grover and Xerrick Grover, all of Allegany; 6 grandsons; a brother Edgar (Lisa) See, Jr. of Hinsdale and several nieces and nephews. Friends will be received on Thursday from 4-7pm at the Casey, Halwig & Hartle Funeral Home 3128 W. State Rd. Olean. A funeral service will begin at 7pm in the funeral home.
